Study On Genetic Variation Of Populus Deltoides And Its Crosses

It was the research about the growth characters and the phenological characters of Populus deltoides and its crosses.The study had two parts :the former analyzed the growth and the phenological characters of Populus deltoides ,and estimated their heredity parameters .The results of variance analysis and multiple comparisons showed that the 86,81,78 were good while the 63,88,94 were secondary.After quantified the abloom date.the germination date and the defoliation date,analyzed the correlation between the phenological and the growth characters of Populus deltoides.The results showed that the abloom character was negatively correlated to the height and the DBH character; defoliation character and the DBH,growth phase and the height character was positively correlated to each other moderately; defoliation character was lowly correlated to the height while the germination date was positively correlated to the height moderately.The latter analyzed the height,the DBH, the stem volume and the crown length characters of the 10 young timber stage Fi progenies of Populus deltoides, estimated their heredity parameters ,and then evaluated them based on the conclusions of multiple comparisons and survival rate.The results showed that the heterosis of the Fi progenies of the 1-69 X P.simonii was evident; the Fi progenies of the T120 x 1-63 > T120 x P.simonni were good while the Fi progenies of the T120 x S3261 was common.The results of correlation analysis showed that the DBH and the height was highly correlated to the stem volume while the crown length was lowly correlated to the height ,the DBH and the stem volume.
