The detection of genetically modified crops(GMC) is becoming both food Iabels andIegal necessity The popse of this stUdy is tO establish GMC detection method using PCRtechnology. Firstly, primers were designed to amplify partS of the 35S promoter, the NOSterminatOr, CP4-EPSPS forget DNA and lectin, lectin primer is co-amplified togcther with thetarget DNA specialIy used as intemal standards in the saxne PCR tUbe. Secondly, PCR resultis to be conformed by Southern hybridization. Thirdly genetically modified soybean DNA ismixed with ddH2O with different ratios or genetically modified soybean(GMS) seeds is mixedwith non-genetically modified soybean(non-GMS) seeds, which indicate that the PCRdetection methods established sensitive. Fourthly PCR method is used to detect thegeneration of the hybridization population cy2 and F2f5)of GMS and non-GMS as welI asimported soybean seeds and bean meal coming from different countries, which show whetherspraying glyphosate is consistent with PCR detection or not, whether resistant to glyphosategene is linked with hiIum coIor or not.The results obtained as fOllowings fPCR method was established to detect GMS seed and leaf resistant to gIyphosate andSouthern hybridiZaion conformed the PCR result vaIidity. Method can be used to detectimported soybean seeds and bean meal.Lectin primer which is co-amplified together with 35S promoteF, the NOS terminator,CP4-EPSPS specially used as internal standards in the same PCR t'Ube. A fast, valid, sensitivePCR detection method was developed. Method can be used to detect imported soybean seedsand bean meal.GMS DNA is mixed with ddH,O with different ratios and GMS seeds is mixed withnon-GMS seeds, which indicate that the PCR detection methods established sensitive limit is0.0l % and 0.05% specially.Resistant to glyphosate gene is not linked with hilum coIor in F5 hybridiZaion populationas well as spraying glyphosate on F2 and F5 in the field is consistent l00% and 93.0% withPCR detection specially...
