Four trails were conducted. The process condition of cladding urease inhibitor with the paste starch in laboratory was established. The distribution of sizes of the starch-clad urease inhibitor particle under optimum condition and the relationship between the starch-clad urease inhibitor rate and the different particle sizes and the effect on the dissolved rate in water and the storage losses of the urease inhibitor were studied. The storage losses of the urease inhibitor and vitamin A in the mixed concentrated feeding stuff and the effect on the ultraviolet absorbing of the rumen liquid were surveyed. The effect of the rumen urease inhibitors of phenols and those of aminos were compared. In trail 1, the technical process was adopted as follow: the starch -* screen classification(eradicating the impurity and chunk) ?weighing the starch and the water, mixing in proportion -* heating ?controlling temperature ?mixing the urease inhibitor in proportion-* mixing up ?mixing the dispersion medium in proportion ?stirring and dispersing ?drying ?screen classification ?starch-clad urease inhibitor particle. With the encoded table of the factor level, a five-factor and five-level second-order factor revolution combinatorial design was adopted to determine the optimum condition by testing the productive rate and the starch-clad urease inhibitor rate. The controlled factors were the rate between the water and starch, the temperature after pasty , the rate between the paste starch and the urease inhibitor, the rate between dry starch and the mixture, the period of stirring. The result was passed by F test. The regression function was submitted by the specific software package. The regression function of the productive rate was y (%) =-28.009-0.092xi+0.511X2+43.325x3+38.159x4+2.657x5+0.013x,x2-0.210xiX4-0.019 x2X5-10.362x3X4-1.021x3X5-0.003xi2-0.013x22-15.748x42 -0.026 x52, and the regression function of the starch-clad urease inhibitor rate was y (%) =28.864-0.293xi+22.874x3-57.758x4+0.261 X5+8.613x3X4-0.002xi2-0.009x22-3.012x32+15.562x42. The adopted process condition was (40, 25.0, 2.5, 0.6, 10), the productive rate calculated was 79.81% and the starch-clad urease inhibitor rate calculated was 49.60%. The result from the repeated preparations under the adopted optimum condition was coincided with the calculated result. In trial 2, the distribution of size of the starch-clad urease inhibitor particle under optimum condition and the connection between the starch-clad urease inhibitor rate and the different particle size were studied. In addition the appearance test on the starch-clad urease inhibitor particle and the effect on the dissolved rate in water and the storage losses of the urease inhibitor were surveyed. The result showed, 1. The starch-clad urease inhibitor particle waswhite and epigranular, the surface was wrapped 80%; 2. The starch-clad urease inhibitor rate was different with the different size of particle, but it was about 50%, and coincided with the calculated result of 49.68%; 3. The starch-clad urease inhibitor particle had capacity of slow releasing, the dissolved rate of the pure urease inhibitor and the different size of the starch-clad urease inhibitor particle had a significant difference (P<0.05); 4.The starch-clad urease inhibitor particle was less stabilized than the urease inhibitor in storage, its color was changed more easily. In trail 3, the storage losses of the urease inhibitor and vitamin A in the mixed concentrated feeding stuff and the percentage loss of the urease inhibitor in the wet mixed concentrated feeding stuff and the effect on the ultraviolet absorbing of the rumen liquid were surveyed. The results showed, 1. The different shape of hydroquinone had significant difference percentage (P<0.05) in the storage in the mixed concentrated feeding stuff; 2. The urease inhibitor had apparent effects on the percentage loss of vitamin A (P<0.05), and the starch-clad urease inhibitor particle was beneficial to protect vitamin A; 3. The starch-clad urease inhibitor particle had t...
