At the same suspend liquid consistence (1.2×10~9cfu/ml) of Ralstonia solanacearum, the inoculation method of puncturing leaf axil with needle is 48h earlier than the inoculation method of soaking root to caused tomato bacterial wilt. After inoculation for 72h and the disease incidence of tomato seedling is up to 100%, the bacterium suspend liquid consistence which the former inoculation method needs is 1.5×10~8cfu/ml, while the latter inoculation method needs is 1.2×10~9cfu/ml.Among the 26 soil samples collected from 5 counties (cities) in Guangxi, all soil samples suppress Ralstonia solanacearunfs survival. The recovery incidence of the bacteria after 3 days being added to the soil is below 20%. Among these soil samples, the soils suppressing bacterial wilt account for 42%. There are little relationship between the disease suppression soils and the soil pH value and the situation whether the former planting is tomato or not, but there are closely relationship between the disease suppression and the soils' character. The sabulous soils are beneficial to the occurrence of tomato bacterial wilt while sabulous loam soils are not. The ammoniac gas releasing from urea can strongly suppress Ralstonia solanacearum. In screening experiment for the bacteriocide to suppress Ralstonia solanacearum, the result is that Kasumin桞ordeaux,Kocide, Dexon, Copper oxychloride can suppress the bacterium at the different degree. But the suppression effect on the culture utensil has not positive relationship with the control effect in the field experiment, while the effect of soil suppression to the bacteria has. Kasumin桞ordeaux has the best control effect to the bacterial wilt.Among the three tomato varieties, 2-5 and Kangqing No. 1 are more resistant than Hongbaoshi to bacterial wilt, but their agronomic characters are not better than Hongbaoshi. After inoculation, the adjustment disease incidence of 2-5 and Kangqing No. 1 is below 14%, while that of Hongbaoshi is up to 50%.
