| This thesis has studied the pathological changes of Heliothis armigera after infection with Ovomermis sinensis by means of technologies of biochem stry and electron microscope. The results show that Ovomermis sinensis absorbs amounts of nutritive material such as lipids through its cuticle from the hemolymph of its host at 28 ?TC. The nutritive material turn into storage in its trophosome which can meet the demands of growth and development during the free-living stage. The esterase activity increase gradually during the first three days. On the fourth day, the esterase activity of hemolymph of its host reaches the highest degree which is 1.18 times compared with the control group, and the amount of lipid material is absorbed greatly. The host only shows slight infectious symptom from the appearance.The process of penetration of Ovomermis sinensis juvenile is a relatively active infection with the help of stylet which can pierce the body wall of it host and enter into body cavity , which cause intense cell immunity and body fluid immunity, the cell immunity is prior to the body fluid immunity. At the 16th hour, the total hemocyte count (THC) of its host larve increases to the peak which is 1.7 times especially plasmatocyte and granulocyte which are 2.66 and 2.49 times compared respectively with the control groups. The content of soluble protein increased slowly during the first three days. On the fourth day, the intense body fluid immunity reaction is identified by the content of soluble proteins which increase rapidly to 1.33 times, and a blue protein band with molecular weight of 7.2 X 104 is observed significantly when stained by Commassie Brilliant G250 and a red glycoprotein band stained by Schiff, and the glycoprotein is agglutinin which is important component of body fluid immunity system and has directly relevant to the process of the second molt of Ovomermis sinensis juvenile.Fat body is the main tissue of metabolize and storage of materials, and is also the main provider of protein, lipid and carbohydrate for hemolymph. Important pathological changes of some important cell organ are observed by electron microscope in the ultrastructure of fat body cell. On the fourth day, our observations show that mitochondrions become smaller and less ,the energy system is destroyed with various degrees. The rough endoplasmic reticulums (rER) are lined closely and largely, on which the number of ribosomes increase accordingly and the protein is synthesized rapidly. Moreover, The fat granules that become transparent have been hydrolyzed and absorbed greatly by Ovomermis sinensis juvenile. On the sixth day, the number of heterochromatins of fat body cell nuclear increase greatly and distribute separately. |
