Researches And Studies On Synthesis Characters Of Different Grape Varieties

These experiments had been done in the Teaching orchard of Inner Mongolia AgricultureUniversity in Huhot and Dongyuan village in Baotou.More than ten varieties of differentgrape cultivars were used for test materials. These grape varieties were used forresearching and studying the synthesis characters. The results are as follows:1.The first step of successful introduction is the suitable dominate varietieschoosing by the phenological phase of fruit tree and growth and fruit habit offruit tree. The characteristics of climate in Huhot and Baotou decided the maindominate varieties of the two areas should be the ripeness of strong adaptabilityand cold resistance. In Baotou the micro climate of dongyuan village is betterthan huhot. The introduction of the red globe is successful.So Baotou should bebuilt for good quality and long keeping grape basement.2.The quality is the most important factor deciding the merchantable valueof grapes.The quality of many grape varieties of Inner Mongolia is very poor becausethe growing period is too short and the loading of grape trees is too high.Theresult is the coloration is not good.The acid content is two high and thesugar-acid ratio is too low. In the production we should control the loading ofgrape trees and collect the grapes after completely mature.3.The storage property of grape berry is decided by the characteristics ofthemselves.The long keeping varieties always have thick pericarps and tighteningcell lines and hard pulps. And the moisture content of long keeping grape cultivarsis always very low. During the storage period the sugar content become lower andthe acid content become higher.The content of Vc become lower for oxidizing.4.The climates of Inner Mongolia of these years are dry.So the grapevine downy mildewis not very serious.We should consider about the cold resistance of differentvariety grapes.
