We isolated a strain of nematode-trapping fungus in this study .It was identified as Dactyllella ellipsospora by morphological observation on the structure basis of its hyphae, spores and trapping oragans. Dactyllella ellipsospora strain grew best and productivity of trapping organs was highest at 25 0 C and aerobiotic conditios on corn meal agar(O.4g/L),its trapping rate was 80.1%. In addition,we did some supplementary research about biological characteristics of Arthrobotrys oligospora,The result indicated that Arthrobotrys oligospora was similar for trapping all larvae of different periods. After going through rabbit's alimentary canal or testing in sheep抯 digestive juice, the fungus still keep servive and show it's trapping activity. At the faeces expriment of killing nematodes in vitro, the number of larvae was reduced more than 60%,when 10~15 spores were put into faeces per gram, after cultivated two weeks. The comparison of biological characteristics of two species of nemato de-destroying fungi demonstrated that optimum growth temperature of Arthrobotrys oligospera and Dactyllella ellipsospora were 200 C and 250 C respectively?which are very different in statistics, but their trapping efficiency was similar Arthobotrys oligospora had certain degree of endurance to an anaerobic condition while Dactyella ellipsospora couldn抰 grow up under anaeroboic enviornment.
