The research was focused on the superovulation, application of BLUP to Mutton Sheep We get the following results: 1. The best Season of superovulation Treatment in Region of Inner Mongolia was the period from 1 1,October 11th to the end of November.. 2.The range of FSH dosage is 90?38 I.U. and the dosage was adjusted around 1061.U.; subjected to differences ofdonors, ages, times of superovulation and climate. 3.Time for injection of FSH was determined by the number of days of ewes estrus cycle, and the heat rate of the superovulating ewes with estrus cycles of 15-16.5 and 17-17.5 days, both tended to rise if injection was postponed injection commences on the .13th day of the cycle for the donors with a cycle of 15-17.5 days,Heat rate of the superovulation ewes is 93.42% within 48 hours after the injection. 4 If FSH-LH and FSH-CI-LH (CI-Cloprostenol) were used to superovulate donors with a estrus cycle of 15-17.5 days, an average amount of 11.43 ?.25 and 13.10?.21 transferable embryos could be obtained respectively With those donors which had a estrus cycle of more than 18 days and to which the FSH-LH method is ineffective an average amount of 11.14 ?4.26 transferable embryos could be obtained if the latter method was used .This made the best use of the donors 5.There was a significant relationship between stud rams breeding values and offspring detection values, so, BLUP is suitable for genetic evaluation of mutton sheep .There is no significant relation ship between stud ewes breed values BLUP and progeny test values. |
