In this study, 268 braids of dogs picked from Nanning, Baiseand Liuchou, and 120 bats captured from Nanning, Bobal and 65 ratscaptured from Nanning were detected by reverse transcription polymeraseChaln (RT-PCR) techmque and the nnce were incubated by positrve braidof dogs The result showed that the positlve rates of dogs, bats and rats inNannmg were 1 57(3/191), 2 0%(1/50) and 3 1%(2/65), respectively Theposltlve rates of bats in Bobai were 2 9%(2/70) The mean ratcs of dogs andbats were 11%(3/268), 2 5%(3/120) respechvely The results of incubationshowed that mice take on typical nervous symptom The resultsdemonstrated that domestic and wild animal such as dogs, bats and ratswere healthy virus careler, and that RV was one of the cause resulting inrables And these provided sclentific mformation in understandmg theprevalence of rables virus m wlld animal and preventmg the occurrence ofrables virus...
