Effects Of Vaccine SSTR, IGFBP On Growth Performance And Endocrine Of Pigs And Ducks

To investigate the effects of vaccine SSTR, IGFBP on growth performance, pigs and ducks were treated in the experiments. The results indicated that SSTR, IGFBP can enhance growth of pig and ducks. Ducks immunized against IGFBP produced an increase of 3-6% in average weight. Ducks immunized against SSTR produced an increase of 4-17% in average weight. Pigs immunized against SSTR produced an increase of 2-14% in weight gain in the two weeks. In the same time, SSTR, IGFBP can enhance the feed efficiency of pigs and ducks by 2-8%. The effects of SSTR on growth were influenced by the protein level in the diet. The study showed that normal level protein in the diet was essential for SSTR. Analysis of hormones level of serum indicated that SSTR, IGFBP can significantly enhanced the level of insulin. S STR can significantly enhanced the level of T3 and significantly decreased the level of T4. The test of antibody of SSTR showed that the pigs of immunized against SSTR produced SSTR antibody.
