In this paper, several kinds of screening manners of a hammer mill are put forwardrelatively systematically during working period of hammer mill in accordance with analyzing theinvestjgation and research about present research conditions of the hammer mill, and that the flowstructure of air influent on the screening process is studied by kinematics. dynamics and enersy.Experimental model machine is invented completely,systematically and creatively by new designidea on the base of analyzing and studying completely. Through experiment designing and manyexperiments, several very important principals between working performance of the hammer milland the re1ative working parameters are recovered. Some new theories and new methods aboutdesigning new type and high efficiency hammer mill are gained from advanced workingperformance of model machine, which provide firmly base for scientiflc research anddevelopment of the hammer mill.In this paper, general principal that influences on screening efficiency of the hammer mill isdiscovered reIatively systematically, and inevitable relation between the movement of the flowstructure of air in hammer mill and the movement of scraping material, and significantconclusions are obtained.
