The dynamic changes of both IgG, 1gM, lgA antibody-producing cells and T cells number in immune organs (bursa of Fabricius, thymus and spleen) and immune tissues (cecal tonsils?and Harderian glands) were determined respectively by immunohistochemistry and histochemistry staining in order to discover the changes and mechanism of cellular and humoral immunity in immune organs and tissues of chickens vaccinated with infectious bursal disease (IBD) vaccine after pre-used immunopotentiator (LP). The results indicated that the numbers of IgG, 1gM, IgA antibody-producing cells and T cells in immune organs and tissues ,as well as the percentage of protection against ery virulent攊nfectious bursal disease virus (vvLBDV) of the chickens vaccinated with IBD vaccine after pre-used IP were significantly higher than those in vaccinated chickens which had not been treated with IPs The results showed that the humoral and cellular immune function in immune organs 梑ursa of Fabricius, thymus, spleen and local immune tissuesecal tonsil , Harderian glands was enhanced by IPsQinfu?and mmunair? Moreover, the immunopotentiating effects of in fu?is better than that of mmunair? The immunopotentiating effects of IPs were due to their active components which promote reproduction and activation of both antibody- producing cells and T cells in immune organs and tissues, and enhance the general and local immune response. The effects and mechanism of IPs were illuminated by the changes of antibody-producing cells and I cells numbers in the experiment, which provides scientific guidance for development and application of IPs and is of significance in theory and practice.
