As the ecological environment worses and cultivated area and water resources decrease, the development of agriculture gains more attention gradually. The traditional rough argriculture cannot meet poeple’s requirements for argricultural production. By means of high technology like EPC system network, intelligent agriculture comes into being, which makes reasonable distribution adjustment to crops according to their best growth state. It improves economic benefit through improving the utilization efficiency of siol, reducing water waste and easing environmental pressure. It’s all known that China is a large agricultural country but not an agricultural power. Consiedring the current development of agriculture we should seize the opportunity to development intelligent agriculture, to increase agricultural production, and to improve ecological environment consiedring the current development of agriculture. Now intelligent agriculture is in its infancy in China, with only a small amount of experimental plots.Against problems such as the wide range of plantation, the difficulty of cable layout and detection of environmental factors, we design a detection and control system of intelligent agriultural detection and control based on Cortex-A9 using high technology such as EPC system network, wireless sensor technology, data fusion, automatic control etc.This thesis focuses on two aspects, which are hardware andsoftware:(1)The hardware circuit is composed of gateway and lower computer sensor. The core board of the gateway circuit is Tiny4412, which is a high-performance kind of Cortex-A9. The touch screen of gateway circuit shows sensor data and the state of electrical equipments. The communication and delivery of data is achieved by the Ethernet port. Lower computer sensor uses Zigbee wireless sensor networks. After combining different types of sensor module with Zigbee nodes, the lower computor sensor can deliver data collected from different sensors to Zigbee model nodes and the gateway; for the bi-diretional feature of data, the gateway can also control the lower computor by instructions then it can control all the electrical equipments of lower computor.(2)The software consists programe designs for the gateway, mobile client, PC client and etc.This involves problems such as the programming environment and content complexity. The program flow diagram and core code of each software design are all presented. Realization of software mainly designs the user management module(user login and register) and the function module( the collection and display of data from lower computor, real-time receive of state information, and operation on lower computor using instrutions). And threshold is defined duringthe realization—— when the data is larger than the biggest threshold or is less than the smallest threshold, the system will make linkage operations to keep environment factors within a sensible range in order to let the condition be the best for corps’ growth.The detect and control system of intelligent agriculture based on Cortex-A9 comprises four layers: sensor layer for intelligent data collection, wireless transport layer for data transmission,humane gateway management layer, and visible user management layer. Through the sensor layer the system collects data about environment factors which influence crops’ growth, and analyzes this data using data fusion technology in order to operate equipments such as artificial lights, extraction pump, glareshield. This data is then uploaded to visible user management layer that can do warning operation and show the real-time curve; the data is also stored in database to make data query and management much easier. The present study hopes to improve the growth environment of crops, to increase agricultural output and to gain considerable economic benefits.
