Wear can be said to be the cause of agricultural machinery parts farming is one of the main reasons for failure. Rotary knife as a touch soil parts in agricultural machinery work, homework by layers of strong abrasive wear, cause the body quickly scrapped, seriously affected the efficiency of agricultural production, causing unnecessary economic losses. At present, the surface processing parts to agricultural research is less, so from a wear-resistant materials and metallurgical method has a great significance to improve its service life.In this paper, using laser cladding technology to domestic rotary tillage blade for 65 mn steel quality necessary iron base self fluxed alloy powder cladding processing. Laser cladding technology is studied in three main parameters: laser power, scanning speed and feeding rate on the microstructure and mechanical properties of laser cladding layer and the effect of the three factors and three levels orthogonal design method, with the evaluation index of cladding layer of vickers hardness above three process parameters optimization. By means of metallographic microscope, digital display vickers hardness tester, X-ray diffractometer and friction and wear testing machine analysis the microstructure of laser cladding layer and phase, test the laser cladding layer cross-section microhardness, wear resistance and cladding layer. Finally has carried on the field experiment to test its wear resistance. The following conclusions:(1) The best process parameters for: laser power 2500 w, 250 mg/s powder feeding speed,scanning speed is 200 mm/min. The orthogonal experiment results are poor analysis and variance analysis it is concluded that the influence of each parameter size order: sweep speed feeding rate > laser power.(2) Through the analysis of the organization, the coating and substrate present dense metallurgical combination, mainly acicular martensite structure, uniform and organization, no obvious defects such as blowholes, cracks. Hardness test results show that the hardness of the iron base coating(720 ~ 820 HV1) significantly higher than the matrix hardness(280 ~ 320 HV1),highest can reach 820 HV1. Phase coating is mainly composed of Fe, Cr, Fe2 Si, Fe, Ni C3B15, SiC,Ni- Cr- Fe and Fe19 Ni phase composition. These Fe2 Si, SiC, Fe19 Ni for strengthening phase.Cladding block relative wear resistance is 3.1, has a lot to improve wear resistance. Field experiment showed that after dealing with the optimum process of rotary tillage blade abrasionand grain performance improved significantly.(3) Comprehensive benefit evaluation of rotary knife in improving wear resistance reduces the rotary tillage operation costs at the same time, the comprehensive economic benefit is obvious.
