The heat exchanger which is a key equipment in the thermodynamic energy process has been widely used in the fields of energy engineering, power industry,chemical industry, metallurgy, mechanism, avigation and so on.The heat exchanger is not only a piece of equipment which satisfies the particular demand of technology, but also an effective device for energy recycling and saving.The energy crisis of 1970s accelerated the development of heat transfer enhancing technology dramatically. In order to reduce the energy consuming and enhance good economic returns,developing high performance heat exchanger which is applicable for different industry process is required.Twisted tube heat exchanger is just the kind of equipment which is developed from conventional shell-tube heat exchanger and meets the requirements of modern industries.This work mainly adopt the way of numerical simulation and mathematics analyse to research the system about the heat exchanger possessing twisted tube.The main work of the study is summarized as follows:(1)The field synergy theory of convection heat transfer was applied to the pipe heat transfer and the flow resistance's characteristics of the heat exchange with twisted tube. Also,comparing the heat exchanger performance with the heat exchanger without twisted tube,this work finds the improved analysis results.The gas in the pipe of the heat exchange with twisted tube brings complex spiral flow and the gas flow of mixed eddy as the main characteristics of rotating.Air flows in the course of the rotation was strong disturbance whose flow rate has slowed down.Thus, the heat transfer coefficient has been greatly improved and air heat transfer has been strengthened.(2)Making use of numerical simulation methods,this work studys flow state of fluid, physical parameters and the heat exchange with twisted tube which brings the impact to the heat exchanger's the pipe heat transfer and the flow resistance's characteristics,Which finds the heat exchanger with twisted tube possesses efficient heat transfer effects.Comparing with the heat exchanger without twisted tube,the comprehensive performance of the heat exchanger was greatly improved.(3)Making use of simulation analysis of heat exchanger which has a variety of pitches twisted tube and comparing with the heat exchanger without twisted tube, the work finds the impact of flow state of fluid,the pipe heat transfer, the flow resistance's characteristics brought by the geometry dimension of spirality plug-in pitch and educes advantages and traits of the heat exchanger with twisted tube comparing with traditional cellpacking type heat exchanger.Through the analysis to heat exchanger with twisted tube of different pitches,this work finds the relations between the pithes of twisted tube and the capability of changing heat and confirms the best bound of twisted tube's pitch. (4)This work introduces the parameter methods of the numerical simulation and the parameter process and method in ANSYS through examples of detailed explanation. Moreover, the parameters process was developed by making use of parameter language APDL in ANSYS.
