In response to oil shortage,environmental pollution, road congestion and a series of global issues,Countries around the world are developing new modes of transport.Hybrid Electric Vehicle provides the benefits of both electric(EV)and traditional internal combustion vehicle,which is the most feasible solution to solve the energy and pollution problems in long time.This paper considered series,parallel,series-parallel and road structure to decide to study series hybrid electric bus.First,This paper finished theoretical analysis of series hybrid electric bus and designed driven system based on the traditional bus using in the city traffic system, realizing the design object to improve the fuel economy and decrease the emissions.Secondly, ADVISOR 2002 software was used to simulate the designed prototype and finish road test.The simulation result was compared with that conventional bus,from which it can be concluded that the newly designed prototype is reasonable and satisfactory.Finally,This paper studied parameters match of study series hybrid electric bus.It finished analysis of performance simulation from theoretical calculations and optimization,and studied the impact of parameters match factors.At last,this paper guides reference significance for the development of series hybrid electric bus.
