Analysis And Research For Coach-body Dynamic Performance

Dynamic characteristics of passenger vehicles are the main factor of determining the quality of bus, which not only affect the passenger ride, driving safety, but also affect the life of bus components. The main work of this paper was to study the dynamic characteristics of a vehicle. By establishing the finite element model of the vehicle structure, modal analysis for the whole bus structure was carried out. And according to the results, some evaluations were made on the dynamic performance of the bus. Also, harmonic analysis of the whole structure of the bus under excitation of engine was carried out, and through the results the dynamic performance of the bus excited by engine vibration was known. By carrying out the spectrum analysis for the vehicle structure, vehicle road vibration tests and the spectrum analysis of vehicle structure were integrated, and then the reasonableness of the bus model was testified. Through modal analysis, harmonic response analysis, spectrum analysis and vibration road test for the vehicle structure, the vehicle's dynamic characteristics was comprehensively understood, and then the final settlement of vehicle vibration problems was reached.
