Mega-structure system is a new type of structural system adapted to the emergence and development of high-and ultra-high-rise building. It not only easy to meet the requirements of building multi-functional, but also have a transmission power of clear, overall good, the construction speed, saving materials, engineering, low cost , can conduct a variety of structural form and material combinations, etc. It is the main direction of development and application of the future high-rise and ultra-high-rise building structure system. But the mega-frame structure have a different from common frame structure fundamentally, the mechanical analysis is very complicated. At present, the study of the mega-frame structure at home and abroad is not yet mature. In-depth studies are needed in the collaborative working principle of main-frame and sub-frame of Mega-frame structure and the yield of structure , failure mechanism and the energy situation of the components.This paper uses large-scale finite element software ANSYS to make finite element analysis, receives dynamic characteristics and seismic response of the Mega-frame structure. In order to save computing costs, this paper uses existing steel-concrete structure theory to simplify the finite element model of mega-frame, because the Mega-structure system is complex. In order to verify the correctness of simplified model, this paper adopts the method of separation of modeling to make a finite element separated model of mega-frame. According to the response spectrum analysis and time history analysis of the simplified model and separated model, it can concluded that the results of the simplified model was similar to separated model, but the simplified model can be better to reflect the true mechanical properties of the model. This simplified approach has a certain reference value to the research of mega-frame.In addition, this paper uses simplified model to study the seismic response of increasing support of sub-frame to Mega-frame. The results show that the increasing support of sub-frame can reduce the seismic response of structures effective. There is a certain reference value for design of the Mega-frame structure.
