Because of the simple structure, high power, high reliability, precision and other characteristics, the study of permanent-magnet synchronous motor drive system has become a trend in the field of the servo drive, and especially for the application in high precision and dynamic performance situation.In the traditional motion control system, the rotor positionθand speed co which are the key parameters of control system,are generally measured by the mechanical sensor. However, these mechanical sensors not only increase the system complexity and weight, but also increase the cost and reduce reliability of the drive system.The sensorless control system can greatly reduce the complexity, weight and cost of the system, whilst significantly improves the system reliability and dynamic performance. At present, a lot of different control methods of the speed control have been put forward by scholars.But the studies about the merits and demerits of various methods are not enough yet. Firstly, the research background and the development of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system are introduced. According to the structure of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the mathematical model of the PMSM in the dq rotating reference frame are established by coordinate transformation. And some common Speed sensorless control method are also described in this paper.Secondly, according to the mathematical model and the vector control theory, the sensorless control methods based on EKF, MRAC and SMO are emphatically researched by the Field oriented control method of id=0. The simulation is proposed by MATLAB/SIMULINK.Finally, the software flow chart, simulation and experimental waveforms are given. Based on the simulation results, three methods are compared from stability, anti-jamming, practical, application of occasions, the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed and Summarized. And the experimention of the control method based on the SMO is made on the experimental platform by the chip of TMS320F2812.
