The magnitude Ms 8.0 Wenchuan Earthquake occurred near the Xuankou secondary school on 12 May 2008. The earthquake is the most damaging since the founding of new China, spreading to the widest range of the most difficult rescue.The earthquake epicenter and the earthquake affected area sffered a great loss,for which the loss caused by one of the most direct reason is the housing damage and collapse. Xuan Hau Secondary School is located in a very earthquake epicenter.The actual seismic intensity reached 11 degrees, more than the local minimum security 3 degrees, also more than strong earthquake 2 degrees. Therefore, serious damage and the collapse of the structure can be considered, subject to standard design objectives. Nevertheless, the office and the central stairwell are not collapsed. The results of their damage and their seismic performance are of great value to the study on anti-seismic performance of large earthquakes.This thesis based on the capacity spectrum method adopts the soft of SAP2000 to model and analyse,and focuse on seismic performance of office and central stairwell which are not collapse. The primary content is as follows:1.I calculate steel bars in strict accordance with the original design parameters and design software,and compare with the actual steel bars.There exists the phenomenon of man-made increased reinforcement, which to some extent increase the seismic capacity of structures.2.I set up three-dimensinal model for structural analysis ,whose material,component size,cross section reinforcement used in the model keep the same with original buildings.the model considers the equivalent slant beam simulating infilled walls and the elastic foundation equivalent damping effect.3. modal parameters,obtained by modal analysis in SAP2000, provides modal shape for Pushover analysis. The mechanics and deformation of the structure are obtained by modal contribution response spectrummethod, which is liable to appoint plastic hinges for the building.4.different capacity spectrum curves are obtained by Pushover analysis under various different load patterns. They are superposed with the reduced elastic-plastic spectrum to get the performance points,which evaluate the seismic capacity of the structure..In this thesis,some significative suggestions are brought forward and they have certain reference value and project guidance meaning.The work of this thesis is to evaluate the seismic capacity of the office and central stairwell with all kinds of favorable factors.Fortunatly,the result is consistent with the real situation which has some reference value to the study on anti-seismic performance of earthquakes. |
