With the development of design and manufacture technology of marine diesel engine , the performance index for large marine diesel engine is very easy to achieve the design requirements. How ever, to achieve the life and work of the reliability of the targets is very difficult. As a key component of Cylinder system, the Cylinder head is prone to failure because of its very complex geometry. So, thermo-mechanical Coupled Analysis of Cylinder Head has an important significance.Summarized the heat transfer principles based on ABAQUS finite element analysis and principles of thermal analysis. Researched on coupled analytical techniques, as well as the cylinder head contact with the relevant parts of ABAQUS finite element analysis software. According to the data of diesel engine cylinder system provided by enterprise, using UG to build geometry model for cylinder head, cylinder, bolts, water kits and gasket, and get the system assembly model. Then Diesel engine cylinder head and then weigh the required numerical accuracy and computational scale, and the cylinder head and related components, structure, divided grid for the parts involving with HyperMesh.Designed the single-point temperature test of cylinder head fire surface, ,based on the use of numerical inversion techniques, combined with Response Surface Method for its automatic inversion of convection heat transfer coefficient, and the effects of different points to calculation results consider different that finally got the cylinder head heat transfer coefficient. Used the determinate convection heat transfer coefficient and the boundary conditions provided by enterprise to carry out the temperature field analysis on the cylinder head, and take comparative analysis of calculated data and experimental data. With the calculated temperature field results as the temperature load, Comprehensive consideration bolt preload, and the outbreak of the pressure of gas, through the establishment of the finite element analysis model, to calculate thermal stress conditions, heat - Mechanical Coupling condition. The results showed: the stress near the bolt hole of cylinder head concentrate seriously because of the bolt preload effect; the stress near cylinder head fire surface nozzle and valve port is higher because of the high temperature and pressure influenced by the gas-fired. Stress concentration sites are in a safe range, prove that the cylinder head designed to meet the job requirements.
