| Mooring chain is the very important connection element for the plant on the sea such as the drill platform. The manufactured chain need to take the magnetic particle testing. However, this process is totally done by human beings, which is expensive and unstable for quality. To change this situation, this thesis develop a device which can carry the magnetic particle testing automatically. The main contents are as follow:1. Through calculation and analysis, ensure that the process of spraying the contrast agent need to be done by human. Design a plan of multi-DOF to carry the magnetic particle testing automatically. Use UG modeling and plane simulation to assure the reliability.2. Design the details of the mechanism, including the detailed plans, the calculations, the sourcing, the manufacturing, and the UG modeling. Based on the parts design, receive the whole device modeling through assembly.3. Use the finite element software-ABAQUS to carry the finite element analysis of the system, including the static strength and rigidity as well as the dynamic characteristics. The results show that: the design is very reliable and the system possesses wonderful dynamic characteristics. |
