As the business developing quickly, the crisis of the food shows to us. In order to decrease the energy lose during the drying process, then improve the living standard of the human being is significant. Therefore, researching on the theory of the drying to control of the outlet water content of the grain has its social meaning. The grain drying is a nonlinear, Lagging behind and complicated heat and substance exchange process. It is influenced not only by the characteristics of grain but also by climate and drying process, so it is so hard to control the quality of the grain. In the other hand, on the view of thermodynamics, the grain drying process is a open thermodynamics system. In total, according to the laws of temperature variety in the drying process, the methods of predicting the characteristics of maize drying process and using the laws of temperature variety to adjust the maize discharge rate are the primary issue to solve the problems in the maize drying process. They can overcome the deficiency which caused by Lagging behind of the system.According the coefficent, such as the temperature, measured online, we can set up the proper model which is according with the fact, it also can provide thereunder for the grain drying control. And we can control the drying velocity of the stage of the currently grain layer, regulating the water losing and achieving the water control among the drying stages, and make the water content out of the machine much more aptive.After the period of constructing the academic model of maize drying and analyzing the distribution of maize interior temperature and the principle that moisture moves in the maize particle, the conclusion is obtained that the temperature variety in the drying process is the determinant factors in the outlet moisture predict. The experimental setup is a maize dryer with four stages. Lots of sample data were collected through many experiments at local. Nonlinear regression analysis arithmetic can be used to work out the results of math model, then, we do simulation of the model which can provide theory thereunder for the water content control online. At the end of the text, take the output of the model as the input of the model founded by the neural work which is used to predict the moisture content. Then we can control the velocity of the electromotor which can increase or decrease the velocity of the grain. So, the purpose of the water control is achieved.Under the research of the proper math model, we get the mothed of measuring the water content of the grain inside through the temperature value gotten online, reflecting the difference of the temperature between the inside and outside of the grain during the drying. And it can satisfy the control demand whole.
