Compared with ordinary pre-stressed concrete continuous girder bridges or rigid-frame bridge, rigid-frame bridge with Y-piers is stress complex,and requires high construction skills. This thesis summarizes the basis of available information, the development status of these bridges, analyzes and compares some of the main bridge design parameters, which have impacts on the design and construction of bridges of the same kind.Through the study on the construction methods of some typical rigid-frame bridges with Y-piers, it summarizes the main construction methods of this type of bridge, clarifies the different application conditions and both the advantages and disadvantages. It also describes in detail the construction method of the Yinghe River third Bridge.Through the analysis of the construction process of a typical Rigid-frame Bridges with Y-piers by finite element method combined with Yinghe River third Bridge's construction monitoring, the deflection in the different condition of the closure order and the demolishment sequence of scaffolds for the Y-piers can be concluded.Using the finite element software midas6.71/civil, through analysis and comparison of the different angles of rigid-frame bridge with Y-piers, and the combination of parameters such as stress and displacement changes, we can know the optimum design point range. Meanwhile, the bridge in axial direction of pre-dynic at the closure of the Yinghe River third Bridge can be identified.The thesis also analyzes and studies systematically on the experiments on the pile test during the process of bridge construction, the test on the pre-stressed pipe friction, the static and dynamic test analysis, while demonstrating the trial of various detection methods and specifying the application conditions.Through the above analysis and research, it hopes to provide guidance to the design and construction of pre-stressed concrete continuous rigid-frame bridges with Y-piers, and references to those who work on bridges as well.
