Recent years, In order to satisfy the national economy's development request, the orbital vehicles are developing to the directions of high speed, high load-carrying capacity and lightweight and so on, this also set a higher request to the rolling stock's security reliability under active status; The locomotive chassis majority uses the entire load bearing type structure, such structure may satisfy the request to a great extent that the structure design lightweight, because this chassis nearly load all the loads during the locomotive use process, therefore the rigidity characteristic of locomotive chassis has the pivotal function, the unreasonable chassis rigidity will affect directly locomotive chassis reliability, security targets and so on.At present the analysis of locomotive chassis structure stresses in the intensity target, and mainly take the structural strength as the key indicator on the product design and finalization, the rigidity characteristic of chassis structure has not received sufficient attention. At present some kind (general and special-purpose) of software may use for to carry on the analysis to the chassis displacement and distortion. The chassis rigidity usually can appraise through some characteristic points (for example middle) in the chassis. But this passive design method is difficult to satisfy the design request, in the actual rigidity design process, the designer often hope to understand the influence of chassis each part to the chassis rigidity and grasp the distributed situation of chassis rigidity, so we can optimize the design of the body structure to achieve lightweight requirements.Because the overall layout request of the locomotive, the railroad limit request and the form request of the locomotive ventilate, the chassis cross section usually take the thin wall tubular structure; we simplify the locomotive body into a simply supported rigid beam model for the first time which is variable cross-section , variable stiffness, variable quality, two bogies at the two points; First we get the entity model of the locomotive body through the Pro / E software , and then get some inherent properties of an effective cross-sections and make some analysis of these inherent properties firstly, such as: area, section centroid, moment of inertia, etc; in practical applications, Stiffness is reflected in the deflection , so according to the variable parameter we calculate the deflection of the arbitrary cross-section under the arbitrary load through the VB program, we can grasp the overall stiffness of the body situation and that is good for us to conduct a reasonable and reliable design of structural optimization.By analye we get the distribution of the body stiffness and grasp the weakest parts of the body stiffness ,then propose the solutions targetedly, Finally,we do some Brief analysis on Influence of Single Beam of the body to stiffness.
