With the development of the automotive industry, Car infotainment systems have become a key difference for cars. They are not only as a means of transport tools, but also become the indispensable"mobile office"and"mobile home theater"to the modern consumer . With more and more multimedia functions and More and more high-quality are required, car information, entertainment, control etc., a full range of integration requirements have been increasingly highlighted. According to trends of the market demand , the paper a multi-functions infotainment platform with high-quality audio-visual systems and navigation was mainly researched in the paper to assist to drive automotive for consumers.First, the paper analyzed the development background and current situation of car infotainment system and people's needs and expectations to it, discussed integrated solutions that the current embedded system achieve functional integration; and for high-end applications, based on IMX35 a complete platform for high-end automotive infotainment system was designed with GPS navigation, high-quality multimedia player, real-time vehicle information processing and wireless communication function and so on. This article is mainly focus on the hardware platform design. Following the hardware design the main function of the system including CPU module, audio and video, the bus network, was discussed in detail from the chip selection to the circuit design. Because the system involves the high-speed circuits, RF circuits and digital-analog hybrid circuit, reflection, crosstalk and timing which is three major issues of high-speed digital circuit signal integrity were analyzed on theory detailedly, and pre-layout simulation for the system routing was performed, and the MDDR timing of this system were calculated. Finally, the general guidelines of the PCB design was proposed and the key point of PCB design of high-speed circuit, RF circuit and digital-analog hybrid circuit was discussed, the PCB design of corresponding part of the system was designed successfully, the layout was given.
