Module Design Of OD Statistic And Analysis Based On TransCAD

The method of street inquiries is commonly used in the regional OD investigation. The number of investigation points is large. The road network is rather complicated. And the travel route between the traffic zones there are so many. So how to integrate high-precision regional OD table from road OD survey data is very important. In the article, the domestic and international research on regional OD integration is comprehensively analyzed, and defects are investigated in every method. On this basis, the traditional method of series-parallel and parallel road are improved, by establishing algorithm model. On the basement of research of regional OD integration, OD data statistical and analysis module is designed in the platform of TransCAD, with the tool of IGISDK. Every single function is programmed. The system is divided of four modules: OD data processing module, single-point OD data processing module, regional OD integration modules, and OD matrix calculation module. OD data processing module is used to check every data in the OD data table, and finally output the single OD data table. It includes two functions: data read and data verification. Single-point OD data processing module transfer the OD table outputted by precious module into single-point matrix, functions include: motor types definition, traffic zones combination, OD matrix conversion, OD data cross-point examination in road network and AADT treatment of OD data. Regional OD integration module integrates every single-point OD into total regional OD by special algorithm. In the system two algorithms are used: series-parallel and parallel road. OD matrix calculation module allows users to output every defined motor types matrix, bus matrix, truck matrix, absolute number matrix and standard motor type matrix.
