As the span of arch bridge inceases, the issue of stability stands more obviously, and becomes one of the most important control factor for design.However,the theory research of long-span steel arch bridge of our country is not thoroughly,and disputed.This paper focus on the analysis of half-Through Tied Arches with Steel-Box Ribs,make useful conclusion,and aim at provide some reference for the construction of the same type bridges in the future.This paper first investigate the basic concept of in-plane stability of arch bridge, expound the analytical method of flexure of circle and parabola arch,and introduce the finite element method on how to analyse the flexure.Deeply dissussed the out-plane stability problem,differential eguation,give the differential eguation of out-plane stability of arch structure.And researched the finite element method on the out-plane stability of arch bridge.And then introduced the non-linear theory of the bridge strcuture, with the non-linear finite element method, direct solve method, increment method, Newton-Raphson method and mixed method, illustrate the Von mises yield criterion which is often used in finite element analysis with ANSYS program.This paper use the "live and dead technique" and load step method to program APDL command flow to analyse the stability of half-Through Tied Arches with Steel-Box Ribs on its constrcution stage,and make the conclusion of that Mingzhou bridge has good stability on construction stage.And analyse the stability of its accompulished stage.Then,contrast the eigenvalue of the operation stage.And then analysed the non-linear stability of the biggest cantilever stage,accompulished stage and operation stage of the half-Through Tied Arches with Steel-Box Ribs,pointed that the non-linear effect on the stability of the half-Through Tied Arches with Steel-Box Ribs can not be ignored.And carry on the parameter analysis of the half-Through Tied Arches with Steel-Box Ribs,contrast the effect of different rigidity of girder,the bracing style and wind-load on the stability of the half-Through Tied Arches with Steel-Box Ribs.Make a benefit conclusion.
