| People often use the aerodynamic measures to curb the occurrence of rain vibration of cables. The aerodynamic measures is the method which control the vibration of cables by changing the cross-section or surface morphology of cable to interfere with the formation of cable surface water line. The most common cable aerodynamic measures is enlace spiral and press pits on the surface. The wind loads of cable are different as a result of the different aerodynamic measures to control vibration.In general, to the components in the cable-stayed bridge, the load moment of key position caused by the wind load on the cable take a large proportion of total. Without a clear differences between aerodynamic measures subject to wind load, it may lead to wind load response of bridge overrun if change the aerodynamic measures blindly.By comparing the wind load caused by smooth cable,screw thread cable,pitted cable at high and low wind speeds, there is the conclusion that the wind load caused by aerodynamic measures is larger than smooth cable in most cases. Wind load on different forms of cable to reach the maximum difference is about 66%. Analysis the bridge respond to the wind load which by the components, the tower bottom bending moments caused by the wind load of cable take the proportion of 24% to full-bridge bending moments of the wind load, the Mid-point of main span bending moments caused by the cable wind load take the proportion of even reached 46.3%. This means that if the different forms of cable is ignored, it would bring a large deviation during the static calculation and result in the possibility that the structural stress run over the limit. Therefore, it is significant to analysis the cable wind loads caused by various aerodynamic measures and the resulting response of the structure. |
