In recent years, the development of China's coastal industrial, economic and the port project is very fast, the commercial value of the full use of underground space has become the trend of modern design and construction. With the expansion of the scale pit and the deepening of excavation, construction of high-rise buildings and underground space development and utilization, promoting the development of deep excavation, it's a severe test of this trend on the design of architecture theory and calculation of construction technology.In the economically developed coastal with soft soil, diaphragm wall retaining structure is more widely used.This article discussed on deep foundation design and construction with the basic theory, for different types of deep excavation and construction methods, based on PKPM foundation design software, using advanced finite element analysis, by Rankine theory model using the "vertical elastic foundation beam method" (referred to as m method) and the "linkage finite element method", to calculate together water and soil pressure on the support system of excavation, we discuss the design and construction method of the large circulating water pump house project deep foundation in the coastal shores of Hebei Guohua Huanghua Port, to in-depth and meticulous research the Construction Technology, order, important points of this process, analyze the technical and economic, choose the reasonable program on the large soft deep foundation, to make a specific analysis, to fully grasp the geological site investigation reports and information,for the geographical, geological, hydrological and construction conditions and characteristics that determine the design and the importance of the construction method, for the construction safety, time, technology and ecnomic—effective to provide reliable security technology.At present, to the deep excavation, the theoretical study of many aspects are behind of engineering practice, due to it's strongly practicality and experience, it is rising with the development of engineering practice. Deep excavation is a complex systematic project, just need a long-time, in-depth study.
