Study On Materials And Structure Design Of Urban Permeable Pavement

Permeable pavement is a new kind of urban pavement. It allows the rainfall penetrating through the pavement structure immediately using porous layers or drainage facilities, which can help eliminating the surface runoff and recharging the ground water. Permeable pavement will have a bright future as its special functions in conserving water, improving living environment as well as traffic safty and comfort.In structural designing for permeable pavement, the contradiction between infiltration and structural strength ought to be solved firstly. There is still not any consummate.permeable pavement structural design method in our country and abroad. So, it is very important to creat a reasonable structural design method for permeable pavement.The paper studies on the infiltration function and bearing property of permeable pavement from aspects of material and structure. By classifying common structural composition schemes and analyzing, the paper sums up the characters and applying conditions of every scheme, supplying basis for the choice of structure schemes; on basis of analysis on damages of permeable pavement, the paper finds out the problems of permeable graded gravel base, asphalt treated permeable base and subgrade properties, proposes the designing method and corresponding solution; the paper conducts mechanical analysis on permeable pavement structure under the worst condition, gets the structural designing index; through the research on infilitration mechanism, two integrative indices are brought forward for the designing and evaluating of pavement infiltration function; by investigating the infiltration function characteristic, the paper renders the infiltration design method and corresponding requirements. Eventually an integral structural design system for urban permeable pavement is formed.
