In recent years, with the fast development of the freeway construction to the mountain in China, high steep slopes have been more and more increased quickly. The rockmass high slope in mountain highway has its characters as follows:the poor content of water, lacking of the necessary conditions and living environment for the plants to grow. Using traditional engineering protection measures in broken rockmass high slop has a great many difficulties in reconstruction and recovery of ecological environment.The paper bases on the left line K37+907-K38+036 and the right line YK37+680-YK37+850 protection engineering in Dianjiang to Linshui freeway, has monitored stability of the slope from measuring inclined pipe and reinforced instrument after unloading the slope, analysed the stability of the rockmass high slope through ANSYS software, demonstrated that it is necessary to use anchorage frame beams to reinforce the left line slope in the construction, studied reinforcement mechanism of plant ecological slope protection, analysed the roughly principle of plant species selection in rockmass slop, optional protective species, combining with slope wild groundcover plants, regional characteristics and test results of relevant to recommend several plants, calculated the slope mechanics stability against the pattern design of the left and right line slope ecological protection, chosen the two kinds of ecological slope ecological protection mode of Geocell and vegetation board type to the slope, explained two ecological protection mode of construction process and quality control standard, evaluated two kinds of slope ecological protection's economic benefit, ecological benefit and landscape benefit comprehensively.
