Wind turbine drive chain design is to study and solve the problem of transmission mode and layout of wind energy into power and it is the design priorities and core technology of wind turbine system. Therefore, the rationality and operation of wind turbine drive chain design and evaluation is important. The thesis has combined qualitative and quantitative analysis to study the wind turbine drive chain design, evaluation indicators and evaluation system. Research provides the gist of wind turbine drive chain selection, and has the value of engineering applications.Main contents are as follows:â‘ Main types of transmission chain on the Large-scale wind turbine have been studied. The basic principles of wind turbine type selection have been put forward.â‘¡Project of the double-fed variable speed constant frequency transmission chain has been studied, and evaluation indicators system have been set up.â‘¢Indicators have been evaluated with the combination of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods. In the aerodynamic performance analysis, the chapter exemplifies the rated speed of the two and three-blade wind turbine. With rated wind speed being variable, the advantages of three-blade turbine aerodynamic performance have been quantified. In the dynamic analysis of the spindle, several common modes of transmission chain have been built with the finite element analysis method. The dynamic characteristics of the spindle have been quantified with the ratio of the blade passing frequency and the lowest natural frequency. In the process of evaluation of the spindle bearing life, several common drive chain drive models have been built and the bearing life has been got with the transmission system analysis software. No failure rate of bearing in two decades has been calculated with the Weibull distribution formula. With the no failure rate being variable, main shaft bearing reliability has been quantified.â‘£The evaluation system of horizontal axis wind turbine has been built with a linear weighting method. The weights have been got with the degree of importance. Based on a special case,with the efficacy coefficient method and on the base of value of the rated wind speed, spindle vibration frequency, spindle bearing no failure rate , the value of evaluation scores have been translated . In the end, comprehensive evaluation results have been got and they are described with an example.
