Electrochemical atomic force microscope is one of the analysis instruments which combine electrochemical analysis with the Atomic Force Microscope (AFM); it can be used for scientific researches on biological sensors, new types of batteries, in-situ electrochemical corrosion analysis and so on. In order to achieve the integration of electrochemical scanning with AFM and increase system reliability, we choose the field programmable gate array (FPGA) in our control circuit. In our system, we reverse multiple interfaces for future updates and extensions, in the signal processing circuit design, we added digital signal processing chips to complete signal processing and improve the instrument's digital signal processing speed, make sure our instruments can make truly online processing and real-time detection come true. In order to detect micro-current signal, we divide our circuit into two parts-high current signal detection and the small current detection.In this way, it can improve the signal accuracy. Client software is entirely programmed by C++, Electrochemical workstation is closely integrated to the main control circuit of the Atomic Force Microscope to ensure that weak signal won't be interfered. Electrochemical workstation has a variety of electrochemical models. System has excellent characters of good stability, high repeatability and strong anti-interference capability. There are five electrochemical analysis methods that could be chosen with this instrument, like cyclic voltammetry scanning, linear scanning, square-wave scanning, differential pulse scanning, potential scanning. Combined with automatic force microscopy technology, you can see not only theâ… -â…¤curve, but also the picture of surface information of working electrode. Finally, we accomplish the test of the instrument and make sure it can work well. So after a series of research and continuous work, the research on electrochemistry automatic force microscopy will go on and on.
