There are develop way on preparaeing functional material by full utilize non-ferrous metal in industrial slag with new method and technology. Mn-Zn ferrites powders were synthesized by co-precipitation method using potassium jarosite's slag of the zinc leaching factory as materials. Mn-Zn ferrite is the key materials of modern electronic industry and information industry.With the rapid development of telecommunication and computer technology, Mn-Zn ferrite is required for mass production. If high quality soft magnetic ferrite powders can be prepared from potassium jarosite's slag, the waste slag recycling process, having great benefits to society and the economy, will be an environmentally acceptable technology. MnZn soft magnetic ferrite powders which were prepared through the process of hot-acid leaching, reducing, purification and co-precipitation by potassium jarosite's slag as materials, finally were made into high permeability ferrite and the power fettite. The following researches have been carried out:The iron and zinc were drawn using the method of hot-acid leaching from potassium jarosite's slag, throngh analysis phase distribution of Fe,Zn in jarosite's slag. The analysis results show the content of zinc in zinc ferrite of jarosite's slag was 54.13%, and the content of zinc ferrite quality in total jarosite's slag was 17.50%. The results of hot-acid leaching from potassium jarosite's slag showed that leaching is carried out for 2.5 h at 95℃by 225 g·L-1 H2SO4 while liquid-solid ratio 5:1,96% of iron and zinc can be leached out. The reaction leaching activation energy of leaching is 108.99 kJ·mol-1, the process of were controlled by the chemistry reaction.It was indicated that reduce Fe3+and remove Cu2+ from leaching solution with cementation of iron scrap, the removal of Cd2+ by sulfidation precipitation and Ca2+,Mg2+ by fluorination precipitation were an effective and simple method in the complex system of MeSO4. The experimental results demonstrate that the optimized conditions of leached solution reduction process are as follows:reactive temperature 90℃, time 1.0 h, stirring speed 150~200 r/min, the excess amount of iron is 1.15 times as theoretic consumption. Under these conditions, the Fe3+ was completely restored, the respectively average removal rates of Cu2+ and Cd2+ are 99% and 17%, Cu2+ concentration of impurities in the leached solution is down to 1 mg/L. The experimental results demonstrate that the optimized conditions of sulfidation precipitation process are as follows:adding 1.4 times the theoretical amount of (NH4)2S after reduction reaction in the leaching solution directly about 2 h, precipitation time 30 min. Under these conditions, the average removal rates of Cd2+ is more than 98%. The comprehensive experimental results of fluorination precipitation demonstrate: the average removal rates of Ca2+ and Mg2+ are 96.73% and 76.67%, respectively.Co-precipitation of the Mn-Zn soft magnetic ferrite powders:the additional rate of Me2+ in purified MeSO4 solution was about 1% while the solution through the process of reducing and purification. The average additional rate was only 0.47%. The prescription of Fe2+, Mn2+ and Zn2+ in co-precipitation powders could meet the demand of theoretical prescription of Mn-Zn ferrite by the proportion reducing technology. The experimental results indicate that the relative errors were under±2% to theoretical prescription of the Mn-Zn ferrite, and it is advantageous to the mutual adjustment with more Mn-Zn ferrite powders. The analysis of economical cost on prepareing Mn-Zn soft magnetic ferrite powders from potassium jarosite's slag showed that the economic benefit is remarkable. It need cost 6990.8 yuan of the energy and raw materials while treatment 1 ton potassium jarosite's slag, the value of high quality of Mn-Zn soft magnetic ferrite powders is 26844 yuan, and additional get high grade copper cadmium sulfidation precipitation slag.
