| As china's economy has developed rapidly, U heat-exchanger pipe is widely used. In order to meet the requirements of production, the enterprises expand the scale of production, and U heat-exchangers become much larger. In the process of manufacturing and using the U pipe, when the U pipe is damaged, the sealing surface of the soldered heat-exchanger's board and its bundle can not to be maintained by current technology for the pipe bundle is too long, which bring many problems to the process of manufacturing and maintenance of U heat-exchanger. To solve this pivotal problem, the design of special device to finish machining the sealing surface of soldered pipe board and bundles in locale becomes urgent.After studying and analyzing the structure of the U heat-exchanger and the problem of sealing surface of soldered board and bundles, this subject presents a technical proposal for sealing surface. A special numerical control machine has been developed for maintaining the sealing surface of soldered pipe board. The machine is drove by adjustable electrical machinery, and its axial and radial movement is drove by step electrical machinery. This paper designs and analyzes the structure of three movement systems and it also calculates and analyzes the main moving parts. The main controller of the machine controllable system is PLC programmable controller. This new developing system controls software to achieve shaping the sealing surface. In order to operate easily, a hanged moving operation is designed, and it can operate in long distance. This subject presents an effective processing for U heat-exchanger of soldered pipe bundles, and it brings a great convenience for the manufacturing and maintaining of the U heat-exchanger, and it also brings the direct economic returns for manufacturer and users, enhances enterprises' competitiveness in the market and widens the field of numerical control technique.
