It calculates combustion processes for a tangential boiler of 300MW by numerical simulation. Firstly,it studies combustion results under design conditions and compares the results between numerical simulation and design condition.In order to verify the Reasonality of chosen parameters.Secondly, it calculates the combustion processes under different O2 concentrations of O2/CO2 atmosphere. Comparing the results, it finds a kind O2 concentration that can obtain the close heat as air atmosphere.It takes radiation heat transfer in furnace under O2/CO2 atmosphere equals to that under air atmosphere as standard,receiving suitable adjustment means or furnace structure,so original boiler can meet O2/CO2 atmosphere directly without larger alteration.Finally,it summarizes and prospects in the paper.
