Power plant technical and economic index is a measure of power plant operation parameters of economic importance. For thermal power plants, the overall plant performance test is an important routine test. Because of various uncertainties, there is measured error betweens measured values and the true value. More than the previous error analysis used to do some analysis of test results, uncertainty analysis in recent years, gradually replacing the error analysis theory. This paper studies the calculation of thermal power plant technical and economic indicators, uncertainty theory of computation and compensation algorithm, the uncertainty calculation theory will be applied to the thermal power performance calculations and to study how the measurement uncertainty affect on the performance parameters calculation results. Finally use the compensation algorithm and improve the measurement uncertainty of the results to improve accuracy, to better guide the actual plant operation.
