With the development of economic and the depletion of traditional fossil energy, it is an important strategic significance for our country to find renewable and clean energy. Solar photovoltaic energy has become an important alternative energy sources. Grid-connected PV Power Generation system is the photovoltaic power generation system associated with conventional power grid; they share the power supply task. In order to improve the efficiency of system, it requires maximum power point tracking (MPPT) capabilities, while the sake of safety, the system also needs to have island detection.The model of Photovoltaic cells is built and applied it to the MPPT simulation process, and proposes a new PV curve based on the slope of the disturbance observation, compared with the traditional perturbation method, the validity of the method is verified. The island detection simulation environment is created in the Matlab, and the validity of output voltage frequency perturbation method is verified. A low-power PV grid-connected inverter using dsPIC30F6010A digital signal controller chip is designed,the system is mainly composed of the inverter circuit and control circuit.
