With the economic development and social progress, human demand for energy is increasing, the contradiction generated by energy is becoming more and more obvious. Saving source and utilizing new energy have become social commands. Vehicles consume large amounts of energy, and is also the main source of atmospheric pollution emission. Auto energy consumption accounted for more than half of the oil sales, therefore, how to design the low energy consumption and emissions for the traditional vehicles and new energy vehicles is the main direction of automobile research currently.The development of automobile waste heat thermoelectric generation (TEG) technology in China remains the primary stage, and the, although more mature, but is also little applied. In order to reduce the fuel consumption, this paper provides innovative concepts about thermoelectric generation (TEG) technology and solar power generation technology applied on traditional automobile, and establishes a system model of the thermoelectric generator, making thermoelectric generator, solar generator and alternator together to construct a new automotive power system. Monitoring SOC state of the battery, battery management system controls the switch state of alternator, and finally achieves the purpose of saving energy.After a detailed study of the properties of semiconductor thermoelectric module and the volt-ampere characteristics of photovoltaic cells, and based on the basic principles between the two subsystems, analyzes the new output properties of the thermoelectric generation (TEG) system,solar power generation system and alternator system, constructs a new vehicle power system and puts forward the requirements of the vehicle performance. Then under the environment of MATLAB/Simulink establishes each subsystem, do some simple developments in Advisor2002, adds new automotive power system model into the traditional module in Advisor2002, establishing the new vehicle power simulation models. Through simulations on different electric loads and driving conditions, tests each section's working states of the new vehicle power system, analyzing the energy flow and fuel consumption compared with the traditional automobile. The key point, also the most difficult point of this paper:Based on Fluent, use the simulation method of fluid-solid coupling, makes thermodynamics analysis of the surface of waste heat chest, and deduces the temperature of the hot point on semiconductor thermoelectric module. And then establishes the automobile waste heat thermoelectric generation system and simulation model to study the output properties and efficiency, filling the domestic blank study. In addition, the use of Advisor2002 developing new vehicle power system model, is very significance for research of new vehicle power system's performance, and it exerts a profound influence on the further analysis and research of thermoelectric generation and solar power generation's influence on the performance of the vehicle.
