In recent years, there is a new bridge between prestressed concrete bridge and cable-stayed bridge—low tower cable-stayed bridge(or partly cable-stayed bridge), it is used in Japan, the Philippines, Switzerland, South Korea and China. In particular, this construction is used in a large number in Japan, make this bridge to be developed. In China, the low tower cable-stayed bridge will become a medium span cable-stayed bridge tower bridge in one of the main bridge.Partly cable-stayed bridge is a new bridge structure, its static performance is studied in the paper.This paper is based on the JIAYUE JIALINGJIANG partly cable—stayed bridge in ChongQing. In paper, integral and detailed finite element model is established with MIDAS/CIVIL to computer the conditions after the completion force of the conditions is established under various bridge. In the base, this paper establish solid element model for the beam to find out the stress distribution of the beam among the load of self-weigh,prestress and so on. Because of the specific of the bridge, the stress and the shear lag effect of the roof beam and the floor beam is so bad, that the paper establish solid element model which the girder section is changed to find out the factor which can improve the stress condition of the girder.
