Self-anchored suspension bridge is increasingly popular for its elegant appearance and adaptability to geological and topographic conditions. Now this type of bridge is applied to more and more medium and small-span bridges in cities,even large-span bridges over rivers. In order to ensure the safety and more economically reasonable of the self-anchored suspension bridge, the article based on the design project of a single-tower self-anchored suspension bridge in Putian City of Fujian Province,developed the research of static properties of the single-tower self-anchored suspension bridge and local stress analysis of the anchoring zone of main cable.At first this thesis introduces phylogeny and application actuality inland and abroad, summarizes the basic construction and forcing characteristic, and indicates the existed problems and developing trend of self-anchored suspension bridge, stress features and typical anchorage structures are summarized; Second,this thesis builds up an integrated finite model by Midas-Civil 2006.Then the structural behaviors under the action of the live load, temperature load, wind load, And the structural deflection and behaviors are computed according to the most disadvantageous combination of the above loads; Then this thesis builds up a partial finite element model finite element by Midas-FEA1.0, sub-three kinds of working conditions on the analysis of the main cable anchorage zone of beam sections of the force calculation, understanding of the force of the structure, and suggests that position which the local stress exceeds the limit should strengthen partly. This thesis sums up the transfer process of the main cable force in the anchorage zone. Also this thesis provides a reference to the anchorage zone design of the self-anchored suspension bridge in the future.Therefore, the static properties and force characteristics of the main cable anchorage zone are comprehensive understood. This text's calculation and conclusion can provide reference for bridge's design and construction of the same kind bridge.
