Transformer can achieve the energy transfer, which is the human energy equipment that can't be lack every day. But the transformer can be subjected to collision inevitably and suffered the impact of short-circuit in the transport process or long-term using, which make the size or shape of winding occur irreversible changes called winding deformation. Studies have shown that transformer winding deformation is one of the most common fault, which threats the safe operation of the power grid seriously. Therefore, study the causes and diagnostics and prevention measures for winding deformation can detect the problems earlier and take preventive measures timely and effective. It's important to reduce the accidents and extend the service life of transformers.In this paper, taking"Transformer Winding Deformation"as the research object and according to the basic principles of frequency response method, the author completed the hardware and software design for the transformer winding deformation system.The paper is formed by six chapters. The first chapter described the importance,practical significance and research status and development trend of transformer winding deformation, while the frequency response assay principle was simply introducted;The second chapter studied the related knowledge of the transformer winding, including the winding frequency characteristics,equivalent circuit parameter calculation and the analysis of frequency response curve characteristics of the winding,which can lay a solid theoretical foundation for the subsequent diagnosis of transformer winding deformation system; The third chapter introduced the hardware design circuit of the transformer winding deformation test system, including the signal module, high-speed data acquisition and cache module and data communication module; The forth chapter focused on the process of the software diagnosis system,including the design of database in the diagnosis system and the design of inference engine,and winding deformation test case is diagnosed. The diagnostic software was upgraded in the original diagnosis system. The diagnosis for winding deformation type could be conduct on the basis of original winding deformation diagnosis, which provided reference information for depth maintenance. The fifth chapter analyzed PC software of transformer winding deformation, ncluding the original test software and the diagnostic software; The sixth chapter was conclusion and outlook, the main contents of this paper and the prospects for future development were analyzed.This test system is split design. First, the relevant information of transformer winding is collected by test equipment and then is uploaded to the PC for processing, calculation and analysis. The results can indicate whether the winding deformed and the deformation degree. If the winding deformed, the deformation type can be checked by PC diagnostic software. This test method provides a reference for carrying out in-depth deformation diagnosis of transformer winding and has a good prospect.
