The structure of ribbed-type open web spherical reticulated shell is a new form of space structures, it has well received strength performance, the appearance is succinct and esthetic and it appropriates to the super-long-span. However, researches of this structure are lacking at home and abroad. This text uses the ANSYS finite element software to carry on the parameter analysis of natural frequency performance and the earthquake response of ribbed-type open web spherical reticulated shell.Analysis of the mode of the structure of ribbed-type open web spherical reticulated shell,research on the structure natural frequency,and also carried on the parameter analysis of natural frequency performance to analysis the influence of the rise-span,the thickness of the shell, bar section and structural constraints to the structruce natural frequency.With the time-history analysis it studies the earthquake response of ribbed-type open web spherical reticulated shell in the function of earthquake, including the structure of the internal forces, the variety situation of max force from the structure top to edge and the response of node displacement in different position under in comparision to the horizontal, vertical, three-dimensional seismic, to prove some useful conclusions with the seismic design.Adopt different seismic wave to study the earthquake response of the structure of ribbed-type open web spherical reticulated shell, including EL-Centro wave, Taft wave and F4 wave, and comparing the structure responce under the three kinds of seismic waves to offer reference for studying the most unfavorably shaking of this kind of structure.Finally, some conclusions in this paper were drawn. Some problems need to be solved further were brought out too.
