With end-guidance radar as sea-skimming anti-ship missile terminal guidance system is currently used by most anti-ship missile guidance system. The returning signal of chaff can seriously interfere with the end-guidance radar, the ability to distinguish targets serious losses, which greatly reduces the capture accuracy. Improving radar range resolution is commonly used anti-interference process, but are subject to various factors, low-resolution radar is still homing dominant, and the inability to predict the enemy's interference decision, even with high-resolution approach, also can not solve the interference problem, therefore. So, how the low-resolution radar have anti-jamming capability at low cast still possess important military significance.First of all, this paper analyzes and simulates chaff and ship's characteristics of polarization, spectrum, Doppler frequency, fluctuations, the first two of which differs greatly between ships and chaff, so we can use it to filter out the interfering signal of chaff. Then, starting from chaff's velocity characteristics, chaff cloud's echo and that of ship were established, according to the model of strong scattering points as well as the mixed signal was processed by the wavelet approach to filter out chaff clutter, leaving the ship signals. Form the polarization characteristics simulation. It is found that there exists an obvious boundary on the polarization ratio between the two, so, theory analysis of the polarization of chaff and ship identification method was developed from that. Finally, the summary text, based on the analysis of chaff and ship, a possible new way of filtering out chaff signal way proposed for future research.
