Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays, embedded systems are universal to the production, life, military and medical fields. Embedded microprocessor ARM, with its small size, low-power, low-cost and high-performance, is occupying the leading position in embedded systems. This paper studies the monitor system for cable trench based on ARM7. In this system, modern equipments and means are used to realize the real-time transmission, the entire process of monitoring, the status dispiay and the critical alarm of the power cable channel.This paper mainly introduces the hardware circuit design and the software implementation for the data acquisitioning system. The module of hardware circuit includes LPC2292 ARM7 microprocessor chip and its peripheral circuit, signal conditioning circuit for the sensors and CAN-bus communication interface circuit. The software is designed for controlling of the data acquisitioning system, CAN communication and the interface design of the color LCD.It is discussed in details that the interface of the data displaying and controlling layer (the upper computer) of the monitor system for power cable trench. The monitor system realizes the real-time display and transmission of the state information for eight sensors including methane, CO, CO2, temperature, liquid level, intrusion, smoke and H2S. Parameter setting can be operated through the keyboard, and it mainly including IP setting, clock setting, power station selecting, trench selecting, node selecting, channel selecting, password setting and state information.The results of the experiment indicate that the monitor system has changed the management mode of artificial regular inspection into that of 24-hour overall monitoring and emergency response.
