With the development of modern society and economy, bridge is getting more and more important for the traffic and transportation. The improvement of design theory and construction technology of bridges makes bridge span longer and structural style and function more complicated. As bridge pile is an important part of bridges, its safety and construction quality is getting more and more attention and detecting safety of bridge piles quickly, accurately, economically also becomes an important part of acceptance of quality for bridges. It's worthy of being studied deeply that how to select different methods such as cross-hole sonic logging, low strain integrity testing, static vertical loading test of single pile and core drilling method and use one or several of them to detect internal defects contrastively to ensure the safety according to structural style and characteristics of bridge piles. As the methods mentioned above have technical limitations, it's very important for detecting the safety of bridge piles to select proper method and work out detecting plan. According to different project cases, this thesis accomplishes comparison studies on the cross-hole sonic logging with low strain integrity testing, the cross-hole sonic logging with static vertical loading test of single pile, the low strain integrity testing with core drilling method, for the detection of internal defects of bridge piles, analyses contrastively pros and cons of detecting methods, and present that we should select corresponding detecting method to get better results according to different purposes and test conditions.
