Power Factor Correction (PFC) technique make input current waves sine, improve efficiency of the system and reduce harmonic waves. DC soft-switching technique is the key technique in high frequency and high density converter. With the development of Power Electronics, Power Factor Correction(PFC)technique and DC/DC soft-switching technique are both widely researched focus.Because PFC and DC/DC are controlled by different IC in traditional resonant half-bridge PFC power, circuit and the control are complicated. Therefore, integrating the soft-switching technology and power factor correction technologies, using the most suitable circuit topology, seeking the more simplified control strategies to cut down PFC costs, reduce the THD, EMI, switching stress and improve the efficiency is the trend of PFC development.Aiming at the integrated control of resonant half-bridge and PFC, a 150w mode of power using PLC810PG are designed. The main contents of the paper include:Firstly, the principle of single-phase active PFC and LLC resonant converter are analyzed in detail. Several control schemes of active PFC and LLC resonant converter are shown on the paper. Besides, the model of power factor correction convert and the LLC resonant converter are simulated for masting the power factor correction technology and LLC resonant technology.Based on the detailed analysis of operation principle and application of PLC810, the pre-power active PFC circuit and half-Bridge Soft Switching DC/DC converter controlled by PLC810 are designed.Finally, all design thoughts and theoretical results are verified by experiment.
