The thesis takes the future rapid passenger transportation network as research subject and references the experience in operation and organization of existing railway lines. In the same time, we learn from the advanced idea and method of passenger train operation and organization of foreign high-speed railway line, combine the new condition and characteristic of rapid passenger transportation network and change of passenger demand, study scientific and reasonable method of classifying the passenger transportation nodes in rapid passenger transportation railway network, where nodes are the citys in which the passenger stations are located. Based on nodes classification, a series of principles for passenger train planning are proposed to lay a foundation for design of passenger train plans. Meanwhile, on the basis of passenger nodes classification and principles of passenger train planning between nodes, the principles for determining originating stations and terminal stations are established. Through the model of matching originating stations and terminal stations, and considering the characteristic of railway lines, economic rationality and passenger demand, a set of optimal passenger train paths are acquired. The sdudy of this thesis seeks to make up the disadvantages of existing studies on the problem of passenger train operation path optimization, improve the quality of passenger train planning, and provide the prerequisite and assurance for scientific and reasonable transportation organization method to enhance the service quality of passenger transportation for new rapid passenger transportation network.
