RA (RESIN ALLOY) is the Ministry of Communications developed a high performance asphalt compound modifier. RA modifier in the face of all common properties of asphalt mixtures have significantly improved modified asphalt in China at present one of the best solution, is ideal for heavy traffic in China, high temperature and wet areas such as highway asphalt pavement application, to reduce these areas prone to rutting, water damage and other typical disease, and enhance the durability of the road.The purpose of this paper is to study and evaluate the RA asphalt mastic and mixture performance, as the RA modifier further application in the physical works to provide technical basis. By asphalt-related test, a comprehensive evaluation of RA asphalt compound modifier road performance. Comparative experimental studies were conducted with RA modified asphalt road performance. Through its high temperature stability, water stability, low temperature cracking resistance and fatigue properties of systems analysis, demonstrated the advantage of its road performance, especially in high-temperature anti-rutting performance.Finally, a comprehensive modification of RA modifier test and Test Section, and further validation of the RA asphalt modifier of the various properties of composite.
